Howdy,My name is Panhandle Slim & I am from North Florida. Sharpstown is the place I call home, a very small place outside of a small town called Blountstown. Dog Gone though, I have lived all across this counrty and I have traveled just about every highway and stopped at just about every exit across the U.S. I have traveled on a lot of foreign soil too. This land is your land, this land is my land.
Ummm, well what do I say? I love music and I love painting, they both just calm my nerves and bring me peace. I usually listen to music and I paint the folk that I am listening to at that time. That's why I have so many paintings of musicians, however I do paintings of many other people and things. I have been painting these paintings for a long time and friends kept telling me that they are good and that I should sell 'em. I thought....... these things ain't much but things I can hang in my garage and look at. I payed them no mind for so long, but they kept on me and I said what the heck. I took their advice and one sale led to another sale and that sale led to more. It appears some people really like 'em and like to look at 'em in their own personal space.
I really enjoy it and It makes me feel real good when people are happy with the paintings they buy. It's a good feeling just knowing that my paintings are hangin' in peoples' homes, buisnesses and offices.
It's a better feeling knowing that my paintings are all across the globe. I have sold paintings to folk in North Florida, as well as folk in the North, South, East and West of the U.S. My paintings have gone international and ventured into Japan, Germany, Canada, England, Norway and many other places.
